Unit tests? Of course, we all compose them! 🧑💻👩💻
The fact that our IT manufacture has understood their importance is simply a large step forward. But does the quality of these tests always go hand-in-hand with their quantity? Unfortunately, not necessarily. I invitation you to a session where we will together search answers to the question: how can we make our tests not just present, but above all, valuable?
We will:
🔸 consider what we truly request in the given and then sections, eliminating unnecessary noise,
🔸 delve into how conscious grouping of test cases can transform their readability,
🔸 discuss erstwhile and how in-memory implementations can prove to be a much better choice than creating mocks,
🔸 see how decently written assertions, based on observable behaviors, can make our tests more resilient to implementation changes.
Cezary Sanecki (Software Engineer at Allegro Tech) talked about unit tests. This presentation was recorded at the 18th Allegro Tech Meeting. Allegro's interior technology conference.
